Two top government prosecutors that recently announced their resignation from high level positions in North Dakota are linked to Vogel Law Firm – the law office that is representing Boardwalk Enterprises.

In December, 2014, Grand Forks County State’s Attorney Peter Welte abruptly announced he would be resigning from his position to go into private practice with Vogel Law firm. He also withdrew his application for a judgeship, which he had only recently submitted.

On February 10, 2015, Tim Purdon, the United States Attorney for the District of North Dakota announced he was resigning his position to go into private practice. Before being appointed to his U.S. Attorney position, Purdon was a partner in the Vogel Law Firm.

Both attorneys are associated with Vogel Law Firm – Vogel is representing the shadowy group, Boardwalk Enterprises, amidst their involvement in a massive loan-fraud money-laundering scheme.
